> Aşağıdaki şiir keşif adı altında işgal ve sömürgeciliğin altyapısını hazırlayan medeniyet ve insanlık yoksunu batılıların, dünyanın saf ve temiz birçok kültürü ve toplumuna olduğu gibi, Kolombiya yerlileri olan Kogilere yaptıklarının kısa, öz ve içli bir özetidir. Tüm dünya toplumları ve yöneticilerinin Kogilerden öğreneceği çok şey var. Kıyafetlerine, yüzlerine, felsefelerine bakınca ister istemez bize (köklerimize) ne kadar benzediklerini de düşünüyor insan.

> Şimdiye kadar Küçük Kardeşe sesimizi çıkarmadık. Ona bir tokat atmaya bile tenezzül etmedik. Fakat artık daha fazla tek başımıza dünyayı koruyamayız. Küçük Kardeş çok fazla tahribat yapıyor. O artık görmeli, ve anlamalı, ve sorumluluk almalı. Artık birlikte çalışmalıyız. Yoksa, dünya ölür.
